Registered Nurse, Parent Advocate, Writer, and host of the MagnetiK Mumma Podcast.
I created this space for parents, carers, and soulful humans who want to live, love, and parent with presence — not perfection.
Because I know what it’s like to juggle it all, lose yourself in the chaos, and still want to do it differently.
20+ years in healthcare, health promotion, education, and holistic wellbeing
Passionate about bridging science, psychology, ancient and Indigenous wisdom with soul in everyday life
Creating real, raw conversations about modern motherhood and human connection
I’ve worked everywhere from emergency departments to remote communities in Australia— and learned that healing rarely happens under fluorescent lights.
I once sailed the West Australian coast for three months with very little money — and learned more about presence, simplicity, and the ocean than any wellness course could teach.
I travelled through India, Sri Lanka & Thailand with a back pack and birkenstocks for two years, learning from different cultures while celebrating difference and similarities.
I’ve danced barefoot under full moons, facilitated youth workshops, co-founded medical centres, and run a restaurant that fed more souls than bank accounts.
I’m obsessed with neuroscience, storytelling, and how our genes express through love, trauma, and laughter.
My daughters are my greatest teachers — they remind me daily that perfection is boring and presence is everything.
Here’s the part where I’m meant to sound polished and professional… but let’s be honest — life’s far more interesting when it’s real.
I’m a student of the universe — forever curious, constantly learning, and always evolving. My education has stretched far beyond the classroom and into the wild landscapes of parenting, purpose, and personal growth.
Formally, I began with a combined degree in Health Sciences and Nursing from Flinders University, South Australia. I went on to complete a Postgraduate Graduatae Diploma in Advanced Emergency Nursing (Griffiths University, QLD) and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Monash University, Vic), building a bridge between science, the nervous system, and the soul.
But my truest education has unfolded through lived experience — from the chaos of emergency rooms to conversations under full moons and sitting around fires, from community clinics in the Top End to raising two wise, hilarious daughters who continually remind me what real growth looks like.
Every chapter — academic, spiritual, and deeply human — has shaped how I see wellbeing: not as perfection, but as a daily practice of remembering who we are beneath the noise.
I launched this journey with a passion for blending science, soul, and storytelling — and a deep belief that real change begins with honest conversation.
Since then, MagnetiK Mumma has grown into a space that helps parents, carers, and soulful humans reconnect with themselves, their families, and the world around them — one real, messy, magnetic moment at a time.
Through my work, I’ve been able to explore topics that matter — such as nurturing calm in the chaos, connection through humour, and wellbeing that actually lasts.
Supporting parents to navigate the tricky middle years with compassion, regulation, and truth.
Building a community that blends evidence-based psychology with soul-led wisdom.
Sparking honest conversations that help families thrive — not just survive.
